Finite Bean ("we", "us", "our") runs this website, finitebean.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal data the Site itself collects, if any, and why.

This Site is separate from the Finite Bean Math Tutor app and Bean Social. If you create an account or buy something through the Math Tutor app, that's covered by the app's own Privacy Policy, which goes into far more detail since the app handles accounts and payments. Bean Social has its own separate Privacy Policy too — you can have a Bean Social account without a Math Tutor account.

We are based in the United Kingdom. This policy is written to reflect UK GDPR and EU GDPR principles.

What this Site collects

Very little. This Site doesn't have accounts, doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies, and doesn't run analytics scripts. There are two places personal data can pass through the Site:

• The "Get in Touch" form. This doesn't send anything to a server we run. It opens your own email client with your name, email, and message pre-filled, ready for you to send to us yourself. If you go ahead and send that email, we receive it the same way we'd receive any other email you sent us directly.
• The email signup on our "coming soon" pages (Math Tutor, Axiom, The Bean). If you enter your email there, it's stored so we can let you know when that product launches. We don't use it for anything else, don't share it with anyone outside Finite Bean, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us below.

Cookies

This Site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Your browser may still make its own local choices (like remembering scroll position), which aren't something we control or receive data from.

Links to other sites

This Site links out to YouTube, Instagram, Linktree, and the separate Finite Bean Math Tutor app. Each of those is responsible for its own data practices, and this policy only covers this Site itself.

Children's privacy

The coming-soon signup collects just an email address, with no other personal details requested. It isn't intended for children to use unsupervised. The Math Tutor app has its own age-appropriate signup process, described in its Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Since we don't hold any personal data collected through this Site, there's generally nothing here for us to give you access to, correct, or delete. If you've emailed us directly, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time by contacting us below. UK/EU residents also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site changes. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we make a change.
