These terms cover your use of this website, finitebean.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

This Site is separate from the Finite Bean Math Tutor app and Bean Social. If you create an account, subscribe, or buy a digital resource through the Math Tutor app, that's covered by the app's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, not this page. Bean Social has its own separate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy too.

What this Site offers

This Site is a free showcase of Finite Bean's educational content: video courses hosted on YouTube, information about our teaching philosophy, and a way to get in touch. Nothing on this Site itself requires payment or an account.

Video courses

Our course videos are hosted and played on YouTube, and are subject to YouTube's own terms in addition to these. We don't guarantee any particular learning outcome from watching them. They're a learning aid, not a substitute for professional educational assessment.

Getting in touch

The "Get in Touch" form on this Site opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to us, and doesn't submit anything to a server we run. See our Privacy Policy for what that means for your data.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the Site for anything unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent.
• Don't attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or access it in unauthorised ways.
• Don't scrape, copy, or republish the Site's content in bulk without our permission.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, written content, and branding belong to Finite Bean. Our video course content is also ours, hosted on YouTube under our own channel. You're welcome to link to and share our public content, but not to republish or resell it as your own.

Links to other sites

This Site links to third-party platforms we don't control, including YouTube, Instagram, Linktree, and the separate Finite Bean Math Tutor app. Each of those has its own terms and privacy practices, which we'd encourage you to check.

Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finite Bean is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory protection given to you by the law of your own country.
